WW VI; PEACE, WE NEED by YUNUS OLAWALE

PEACE, WE NEED
Behold! Peace is what we need
In spite of our diversity of things and things
But, alas and alack, something has been omitted;
Mind is everyday unrest

Where are you  concealing yourself,
You 'White?'
Must everything unmitigatedly go asunder
Before you appear, you 'Green?'
'Motto!'are you blind and deaf?
Why are you indulgent yonder?
While the guns have eaten up your survivals

The predicaments of ravages of war
Have watered away the whole things
But you stand and prop against
The peak of the stick
And dancing to the music and,
Melancholic singing of tribulations.

The innocents are the victims of battered scene
And everyday like Tsunami's event
While the guilts are of passionate intensities
Thus, don agbada of barbaric acts.
'Anthem' is the reverse of her theme
'Pledge' is now the history of once upon a time.

We need peace!
Elders and youths;
Men and women, poor and rich
Government and citizens,
Shall we move forward to peaceful life?
Shall we all forsake launching a snivelling life?
Shall we all forswear beat up on ourselves?

Let steadfastly stand to uphold
And fertilize, our sincere Motto
Because we are all John Pepper Clerk.
Alas! We need peace.
