TO THE LORD FOR MY WORDS...
DAUDA ONAWOLA:
To God, Lord of all worlds
I pray for my pen to utter such words...
That listeners in the crowd
hear her whisper so loud
That assume the critical dimension
which on perception ease hearty tension
That reach receiving minds
in same form it left behind
That open the eyes of the blind
painting feelings in cornucopia with lines

That doctor the ill thought-house of cynic Thomas
to let-off inferring not as rass
That cause genocide to the soul of morons
to seek refuge in the land of Solomon

That which with great tiding

That strike love in the heart of the heartless
not forgetting to inspire the motherless

That places hope side by side with clouds for eyes to gaze on
