Compare that man with this man
Compare those days with today
Compare the thoughts if you can
Bless the early days of man on Earth
Bless the questions that gave birth to the disciplines
Bless the fathers of science and art
Bless the things that were done for humanity
Peace to the soul of the doers
Bless the words that lived up to now
Bless the stoes and water
Bless the fire that made them
And the air that kept them
Bless all of the elements
From their answers, we built the day
Their thoughts attained a living form
Only to give birth to technology and die
Good enough, no soul created can be destroyed
The world is seemingly forever under construction
It didn't start today
It started when they gave answers
To the dreaded questions of that time
Building Earth would cease
As soon as this generation fails
On the path of the early men
To query the meaning of life
In as much as the human sense and strength would cover
