RETURN OF PHOENIX

Hola!

It's been a while on this space! Hope all is well with you, dearest reader! I have been up to quite a lot of things, basically trying to help others in little ways directly and indirectly and trying to fix myself too!(haha).
As I have outlined earlier, Wonder Nation currently has a couple of publication projects at hand namely publication of Word Wizardry Anthology and The Phoenix Series (untitled yet) and the good news is, right now, I have resumed activities towards this. In fact, The Phoenix Series shall continue soon.
I really apologize for my absence and I hope to continue giving my poetry audience the very best I can.

In my teenage years, I have always wondered how people could act inhumane towards helpless creatures, stories we heard are enough to scare one for life.

MY TRANSPARENT BAG

Plastic pollution does no good to humans, animals or the environment (aquatic and terrestrial). It is a menace to the entire humanity. It threatens the three integral components of One Health - human health, animal health and environmental health. Humans have more than enough reasons to take the fight against plastic pollution personal. #MyTransparentBag When I came back to school this semester, I chose to join the fight against plastic pollution and punch it no matter how light my blow is (lol). I stopped disposing plastic waste mindlessly, I kept a transparent plastic bag in a corner of my room where I'd drop plastic waste - chiefly sachets and nylons (they don't decompose so they don't smell!). Even if I took water outside, I will keep the satchet in my pocket until I get to #MyTransparentBag. I started alone and now few of my room mates are sharing #MyTransparentBag with me though they laughed at me three weeks ago (lol). Imagine how clean and safe it would be if we stopped littering the streets with 'pure water sachets', 'black nylons', 'coke bottle', and 'indomie sachets'!

DOCTOR OF WHAT?

Doctor of What?
Two letters, one period (Dr.), so much fuss. Then again, this short combination of letters and punctuation is rather much coveted. It projects expertise and draws respect. It indicates status, accomplishment and years of study. It earns clients' trust, it makes parents proud, so perhaps it should be no surprise that more health care professionals want to see the honorific "Dr." before their names.

Forget the past, don't dwell on it but remember the path.
Again I plead, please forget the past but remember,
Experience don't come from the future.
