NEED FOR SPEED by Dauda Onawola

NEED FOR SPEED

As you reach farther;
More shall be left behind,
Lesser shall be found ahead,

Competition shall be tighter abreast...

The past is a mighty cargo, a stout retardant
And required to be cautious are you
For it grows stronger in number and bigger in strength with time.

The anterior proceeds melting
Until all of ice assumes the original element
When thou shalt encounter the terminus.

In any form shall the end opt to feature,
Might even be a function thine doing in the name of speed
Conforming with the convenant - law of diminishing vanguard
In which caution maketh right every inch en route
In the sentient journey.

Should it be taken into account of wisdom
if a giant African snail sheds its shell
in the need for speed?

This is the pathway;
Birth - hustle - end,
How fast you move, hastens arrival at your destination and eventually the terminus.
